The Opportunity: You'll join established oncology teams in NSW public hospitals, providing registrar-level support on the inpatient ward. Your role will focus on caring for admitted oncology patients, managing complications of treatment and disease, and working closely with consultants, junior doctors and nursing staff. This suits PGY4 registrars with oncology or strong acute medical experience who want to: Build inpatient oncology skills Balance locums around training or other commitments Experience different hospital environments across NSW Clinical Environment: All opportunities are inpatient-based and may include: Daily ward rounds with Oncology Consultants and/or advanced trainees Reviewing unwell oncology inpatients and formulating management plans Managing chemotherapy-related toxicities and cancer-related complications Liaising with ED, ICU and other specialties for shared patients Participation in handovers, MDT discussions and discharge planning Eligibility Criteria: AHPRA General Registration NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check Australian working rights Willingness to complete hospital credentialing and onboarding What's Provided: Up to $180/hour , depending on site and shift type Flexible ad-hoc shifts and block bookings across NSW Travel and accommodation provided for eligible locums Full support with credentialing, paperwork and roster coordination Why Choose Gorilla Jobs: When you work with Gorilla Jobs , you’re supported at every step: Personalised service: We take the time to understand your preferences, availability and career goals.
